Dont be surprise that your competitors are getting ranked ahead of you, thats why there was decrease. The only solution is to kick start your SEO again.

In addition, kindly adjust your onpage seo.

Hi Kuti,
I just found this site...someone sent it to me on my blog saying I can go viral if I visit here. Now that I am here I am overwhelmed with the information...where to start, what to study, and so forth.
Right now, your comment "If you need SEO service," caught my eye. I really want my blog to go viral but I don't have a clue how/where/what/why/who/when to start. If your prices are reasonable, maybe we can work together. Thank you,
Jack

I think reason should be lots of algorithm updates and competitors.

6 reason why this could of happened

1. Manual or Algorithmic Penalty Rank Drop
2. You Got OutRanked by a Competitor
3. Your Site was Demoted due to On-page Issues
4. Your Site Dropped Because it is Losing Links
5. Google Just Updated Their Algorithm
6. Google Flux

My website rank decreased too, well in the position sense. I have no relevant content on my website, just links pointing to my website with my long tail keywords and it is slowly dropping in the rankings. SERP use to be on page 3, which i was okay with but it is now on page 8. So what I am going to do is see if i could post quality content relating to my keywords, but not post the content as if i was trying to rank for it, but let it rank itself sorta and go from there. This is my solution, and I'll let you know how it works, if i remember to post here again.

Google are now looking at websites that are creating quality contents at least once every week since this is something that can make visitors to your site to keep coming. I would advise that you start writing new contents/pay a good freelancer that can assist in moving your site up with some nice articles.

First try to check the backlinks of your website to identify whether your website has any unnatural link or not! If you find any then remove them either manually or using disavow tool. Along with that continue creating high authority backlinks for your website.

If you are not doing any SEO work on your website, the tendency is for the rank to decrease when the competition are doing SEO work regularly. For example, the new content is important for a website to maintain the ranking so if you don’t upload new content then it is expected to go down in ranking. I would suggest that you learn SEO methods to be in step with the competition.
