My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

Recently I've been pretty active on Quora.com and I'm here to bring you on my journey My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

So I'm not new to Quora, but I'm new to posting as myself on Quora My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora I've purchased multiple services here on Seocheckout that were for Quora posting and I was never too impressed with the work done because I wanted the answers to the questions to be 500+ words with tons of information to the question. Now I know I'm being unrealistic when I pay $15 for 10 posts and then I expect the service provider to write 5,000 words of great information lol My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora But that's what I want!!! So I started doing it myself My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

So after I registered I went inactive, but I'm back now!

Today I started hitting it pretty hard on my own and answered close to 50 questions. I didn't write up 500+ words for each post, but the information I did post was top notch and better than most of the other responses.

I didn't focus too much on optimizing the answers I was posting because I'm targeting people who are already on the website. And well, once you've been doing SEO for as long as I have, the on page optimization comes second nature lol My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora So I'm pretty sure that a lot of my posts are optimized even though I didn't focus on it.

So after all of my posts I was at around 300 views, which is pretty good since I haven't had one post go super viral yet. The views I'm getting are probably from people searching for questions or seeing my posts showing up on their dashboards. But I'm not too worried about that My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

I'm not posting links in every post because that just looks unnatural and spammy. And I don't want to get banned the first day I'm going hard on Quora lol. Also, when I do post and I add a link, it's not always my own link. I've linked to news websites, google, yahoo!, and also my own websites. This shows diversity and that I'm not just posting to get traffic to my own pages to make money. I would say that I post links in about half of my answers and out of all my posts I do, around 15% or 20% are aimed at my own websites. Since I have a bunch of websites I can push a good amount of variety in there and not just 1 website of my own My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

So far I have 430 views and 1 upvote on my answers and questions.

My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

It's not a bad start at all and I'll be back tomorrow to update everyone on my views and how everything is going.

If I figure out any quora hacks I'll add them into my tips and tricks for everyone to enjoy My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

Thanks for this Razzy! I started checking out Quora about a month ago. I am not able to go on every day and post answers but I have managed to get on every now and then but I have managed to make good progress. I haven't been onto Quora now for about a week.

Here are my stats!

My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

I have posted 53 answers, 1 question and 1 post. I am following 30 people and I have 18 followers.

Oh and I have had one warning from Quora about posting a link... oopsie! Most of my answers I have not added links to but the few links I have added were to my own websites. I guess I need to be a little more careful.

On the bright side I have already had 3 people contact me directly through Quora from answers they have seen me write that were SEO or blogging related.... big time YAY!

So far I've posted 19 answers and 4 questions and I've gotten a good response so far. All of my posts are pretty detailed and take some time to write up My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora I haven't been as lucky as you getting SEO and Blogging related inquiries, but hopefully they're coming My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora Well, I can't exactly say that I haven't. I do have an SEO audit form on my website that I'm getting a few more fill outs each day, but I am running a new Adwords campaign for the same website so it could be coming from that My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora But I do have 4 new clients in the works and that's a huge ROI for my adwords campaign and quora posts lmao My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

What I've gotten with 1 day of posts My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

I haven't gotten on there today, so hopefully tomorrow I can post another 20 answers and get another 2,500 views My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

My first goal is 100,000 views on my content and then I'm going to target 250,000, then 500,000 and then 1,000,000 My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora It's a long journey, but I think I can do it as long as I play it safe and don't post pointless links that are spammy My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

Oh nice one Razzy! Yes I have been trying to be quite detailed with my answers too as it seems to me that the more effort you put in then the more you get out. I guess it is the same for anything in life.

One of the niches I am finding especially helpful for is recovery from addiction. There are loads of questions and it is easy for me to answer.

Maybe I should start a service for Quora answers?

It was interesting to read through this post as to be honest I set up a Quora account several months ago, and never got to be active at all on it. I always mean to spend some time getting used to it, but have not got to do it so far. After reading your post I got more interested to give it some attention. There are many users who find value in Quora from what I heard and it certainly is worth checking out I believe.

You are doing a good thing by inserting that much diversity in your answers, the Quora admins won't initially pick up on your trick, but I do believe they have some kind of system in place that lets them know when an account posts the same domain multiple times on multiple questions.

I delivered Quora answers for a couple of years from the same accounts without any problems, at one point I didn't even bother to post normal answers because my link would change with every new order.

Nevertheless I still got found and banned, hard, on all my accounts, some of which I didn't even used for a long time.

Wow, that really sucks man.

I'm super diverse on the links I'm posting and I would say that I only put a link in around 25% of my posts. I should do a little more research on how to stay off the radar before I get any deeper into this My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

I do have my URL in my bio that shows on every post, so that works well enough when I don't post any links lol My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

Yes I've done this too, I've also added my website links into my bio. Perhaps this will be enough and maybe a much safer way for me to things since I am a blogger.

I've noticed a good return on my own posts compared to paying for posts. I think it's because I can control what my title is that shows on every post regardless if I post a link within the post My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

Right now my title says "CEO at (my company URL)" and I get a lot of people clicking through to my profile and then clicking the link in my profile. They could also be typing my URL directly into their address bar and coming to check out what I have. The activity on my website has increased at least 25% and I've only put a few hours into Quora marketing My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora So if I sign just one client at $850 a month and get them on a 1 year contract, those few hours will really pay off My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora Now if I put 10 to 20 hours a week into answering questions on Quora I think I could retire at the age of 40 because of all the new clients paying me to do marketing and optimization for their websites My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

I have to laugh. My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora My Quora journey has been long and boring! I take full blame for that. The platform is great. It's my fault for not taking advantage of everything they have to offer.

One thing I do take advantage of is their free blogging platform. If you were going to sign up for Quora and not do anything else … at least use their free blogging platform! Makes a good backlink.

One more thing. I never checked my stats before. But thanks to your image chart, I decided to check them. For that last 30 days there was nothing to impress. Like I say, I'm not that active. But to my surprise, my stats for “All Time” and I've been on Quora for at least 5 years (maybe longer) showed:
  • 43.8K Views

The response that got the most UP votes was to this question:
If you conquered the world, where would you make your capital?

That was a fun question! Because we all want to rule the world, don't we? My Quora Journey: Getting Started with Quora

Rechecked my stats since a year ago. Everything has practically doubled.

  • 82.7K Views

But I have been more active this year. Now I have to figure out to make money with my Quora activity.

I know that for some people make good money using Quora. I just think that there is not that much information out there about how to use Quora. I also think that it depends on what niche you are in. People make money by making recommendations in their answers that point people to their website. I don't see this working for people who have fashion blogs e.t.c. However I think Quora is a good source of traffic.

To be honest, I got very interested in Quora when I first saw it here in this site. However I really couldn’t find time to make an engagement and maybe my focus was on other matters. But today I will create an account in Quora to have a first hand experience of what we are talking about. I’m sure I will learn a lot in Quora and I can also share my knowledge to the members there.
