    Can sending traffic visitors alone to a website leads to its increase in google rankings?

    Without carrying out any other SEO methods like social bookmarking, creating blog comments, search engine submission etc., except driving in traffic visitors ONLY, will that be enough for google search engine to rank the website high in google search results?

    I'm nothing near a SEO expert but I would say that this is just impossible. You can't rank well without proper seo, but I definitely believe that you will rank. However, if you are able to bring tons of traffic, without doing any seo, I would say that you're sitting on a pure gold mine. Just imagine what would happen if and when you hire someone to handle anything seo-related for you, or when you do this yourself. - The results will be awesome.

    I have a very good knowledge about the SEO practices like blog comments, social bookmarking, article writing etc and even have the tool to implement them and i have truly carried out some good seo methods on my site and it has helped me rank higher from its initial position in Google rankings position. but the biggest challenge is getting real traffic visitors and that is what i am trying to figure out, though some comes from ther SEO i have doen but not enough.

    This is a very interesting topic indeed my friend. Most people think that traffic alone can get them to the number one spot or to the first page of Google and this is simply just not true. Will the traffic your receive increase your rank? Yes depending on the quality and bounce rate will depend on how much your rank will increase. The other point i would like to mention that traffic holds very little weight in the ranking of websites. Google has created a multitude of requirements in order to rank better on searches. Traffic is one of them but its one of the more least important aspects of SEO. Keyword Phrases, Backlinks, and site content along with Google ad budget would be an awesome combination to get started. If you can drive traffic as well as these things you may have yourself a nice rank in a few weeks of being consistent. Thanks for sharing! I hope my answer helped you out.

    hmmmm,... i thought as much in your direction but wast very sure but know i know better. that means i must find a way to send lots of traffic to my site apart from the regular SEO methods that one can easily implement on his website.

    If the fake traffic has an organic origin as source chances are it may actually help you get better ranks. Don't get me wrong this is not the way to do things and doesn't work well, but I think it has the potential to increase at least your Alexa rank a little.

    This was a very popular method to increase Alexa Rank in the past, some people still claim it works but I think the actual value your getting is so insignificant it doesn't worth the trouble.

    Thanks for your response but please expatiate on your last statement for i don't understand. what kind of trouble are you talking about?. also concerning the traffic, if it is real, it will surely increase alex rank, that i know very well but just wanted to know if there will be any need to carry out any SEO tips since our main aim s to increase rankings and alexa rank.

    It might help a bit, but it is not strictly speaking something that can offer a huge improvement all on its own. It takes more than that for better results.

    Traffic is one of the factors for search engine rank, however, traffic alone is not responsible for website ranks. You need to consider other options as well, for example, your need to have quality contents, your contents must be properly optimized and you need to have backlinks from reputed sites.

    The answer is if you already have good traffic to your site then rankings automatically goes up. If you don't have good traffic then rankings are low.

    I don’t think it is a good idea for your website to rely only on visitor traffic for your ranking in search engines. Perhaps you have to exert even a little effort for the SEO work particularly in uploading fresh contents. I know that it depends on the kind of website like if your site is a forum then you get fresh contents all the time provided your forum is active. But in leaving it to stagnate, I guess the ranking will just go down as time goes by.
