iPhone 7 Plus or a Google Pixel / Pixel XL?

As always the dilemma between choosing between an android phone or an iPhone is ever present for many smartphone buyers. There is no denying that an ios system has its pros, but the choice among Android devices is much more varied too in contrast. With Google’s latest introduction of the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL, there are many buyers who are considering opting for one of them rather than the much higher priced iPhone 7 Plus. What are your views with regard to these smartphones? Which would you choose? I think the Pixel phones are too highly priced considering that they are trying to beat iPhone 7.

Well initially I automatically thought of course go with the iPhone 7. However, it doesn't have one of my favorite features anymore, the headphone jack, and I believe you're required to use wireless headphones via the bluetooth feature on the phone and I'm not too entirely sure if apple provides those or if you have to purchase from elsewhere.

The cost between the two smart phones, apple, and google seem to be quite competitive. I believe they both are selling for around $1050. I think at one time both were $999 if I remember correctly. I may go with Apple phone over any other solely because I like how the UI is set up, and I'm more use to apple mobile products.

Yes the price is something like that, and I cannot understand how Google decided to set such a high price, considering that this is their main serious attempt in the smartphone market. I would have thought they would have gone a bit cheaper, so as to entice those potential buyers who are seeing the iPhone 7 as being too expensive. I have used both iPhone and Android and I think that I would stick with Android because iPhone, despite the high quality, is just too restricted in various areas in my opinion.

I personally would wait this one out. Google Pixel is brand new, I'm not going to jump buying one until I'll see some serious reviews from people that had it for more than 6 months.

So on that note, I definitely will not switch to iPhone anytime soon since I'm such a big Google fan, I will probably go for the second generation of Pixel, bet they'll fix a lot of current bugs and annoying features Pixel has at the moment (if it has any at all).

What I could find from most reviews till now is quite good actually, however I would not be willing to spend that high price for sure. I agree with you on that. Moreover, I hate to spend really high prices on smartphones. I also worry about damaging them because I am not that cautious. I have had several accidents with my previous phones, you know, bumping, and falling, and then I always regret having spent a lot of money on them! So it is better to go for something cheaper. I think the One Plus 3 is actually a great alternative.

it really depends on what you want to use it for. You must take note that a Google Pixel is quite a bit more expensive than most flagship phones. iPhone 7 Plus performs really well overall and would make a better phone if performance is what you're looking for. Google Pixel XL on the other hand, has an unrivaled camera by any phone and still offers the best camera quality in a smartphone until now.
