Will you buy Spectacles by Snapchat?

I know that the title might sound weird, but it’s not. Spectacles is the new hardware product presented by snapchat, they are wirelessly sunglasses dedicated to snapchat, when I say dedicated to snapchat it means, that you can use them to snap on your snapchat up to 10 sec, as they have a mini camera on right side, and lights on the left which shows to your friends when you’re snapping. Furthermore they are chargeable, but only from their case.

It’s not clear when they have planned to release them, but I read something about this fall, and the price will be around $230.

I don’t even have a snapchat account, so this product it’s not in my interest, but I think snapchatters will love it. Even though I don’t like the idea of having a camera on my sunglasses, especially wifi connected.

Oh my gosh, no I wouldn't buy this!

I am not on Snapchat so I have no idea how it even works, but buying a pair of sunglasses that takes photos and integrates with a social network is not high on my list of things to buy LOL.

I am sure some people will find it a novelty and will buy them but I just can't see this taking off at all. Maybe I am completely wrong and I will be eating my words but I doubt it.

I had installed Snapchat app and had a valid account for 5 minutes. In my opinion it's the most useless app available now when it comes to communication. So no, i won't even consider buying Spectacles even though the design attracts me a bit. But it will be just another fling without any real application in real life. I know I'm getting older and probably I will not be cool for not buying them but like my RayBan's more than Spectacles.

To say the truth, i hate when my pictures are gone after xx seconds. I know that this is the main idea of the software but i don't like it and probably, that's why I like Whatsapp that much. You can store as many photos as you want and after a year you will still find them in your conversations.

Yes I think this would maybe appeal to kids or something but for me it does nothing. I haven't tried Snapchat because the idea of it just doesn't appeal to me. I can't see it helping my online marketing endeavors so it is useless to me,

For those who love SnapChat this is probably going to be of interest. To me personally it would be of no use as I do not like the app at all. I tried it out a couple of times but I think it is only ideal for those who love photos, especially selfies, and who have a lot of time on their hands to waste snapping and sending a photo that will only be visible for a very short period of time. I guess this is something that mainly intrigues teens. Besides these specs are quite pricey.

This Snapchat Spectacles is a new innovation but I think it will go the way of Google Glass, that is if you still remember that gadget. Regardless of the cost, because I think $230 is not expensive. However, I don’t see the practicality of that Spectacles. I may be wrong because the younger generation may grab the Spectacles when they are out in the market. But for an ordinary computer or internet user like me, I think it is not a good product.
