Finding angel investors for your next business idea

If you're like me, you have a ton of ideas but not enough funding to actually go through with them all. You have to cherry pick which idea you want to launch next and you do this by deciding which one would be the most profitable, usually.

If you think this is just a post like "Now you can start all your ideas and not invest any money!" you're wrong lol. This is a post on how to find angel investors who would be interested in helping you push you business idea into the stratosphere.

Investors are in it to win it, they don't care if you have personal problems and need a few bucks to pay your bills. They want to see a detailed plan of attack and also the potential of your idea in order to turn a profit.

If you're asking for $5,000,000 and your stats show that you'll make around $5,000 a month, you won't get any investors because they will see this as a bad investment since they won't be able to withdraw profits for a minimum of 333 years lol Finding angel investors for your next business idea If your idea is a free service then it better have an excellent exit strategy in place to show investors that they can cash out at a profit down the line (in their lifetime).

A few ways to get investors is to go to third party platforms that will allow you to pitch your idea and investors can contact you if they're interested. Now I'm not talking about gofundme or kickstarter, while those are nice, they aren't the right platform for you to be looking for an angel or private investor.

Here are a few investor platforms:

These are just a few of the bigger platforms that people have successfully gotten funding for their startups in order to push themselves to success. I personally have not used any of these, but I've heard good things about them Finding angel investors for your next business idea I do p.an on trying out Angel.co because it was one of the first ones I found that hit all the right points when I was going over the content on their pages.

The trick with these platforms is to not go in half assed. If you do, you won't get any funding. Investors want to see that you took your time on your business plan which will show you're dedicated to the idea of your startup and that you're not just going to throw their money at the wall and see what sticks lol.

Also, if anyone here wants to invest in some of my ideas I'd be more than happy to talk over a couple with you. I currently have 2 ideas that I want to get going Finding angel investors for your next business idea

Thanks,

Razzy

I was looking for investors sometime ago. At some point, me and @Cristian collaborate with Jordan on a similar project as Seocheckout but niched and adapted to our local market (Romania). Everything was put in place, the domain, the script, we created the algorithm so we released the service. We had good advertisement in local newspapers, forums, popular blogs, press releases etc. We thought we are done so let the cash come in. Our surprise was when we realised that people are not ready for this kind of business and they don't really understood d how the system worked.
Basically, what i'm trying to say is that even with the best support, investment, angel an idea doesn't work all the time.

i believe the question is, how to make your business staying afloat and generate revenue?

Yeah I can see how this could happen, it is really important to make sure that there is a market for what you are offering. This can be such a simple oversight and I am sure it must have been terribly disappointing for you all.

LOL Razzy, I have an idea for a new website that I want to get going but I don't have the time or the resources available right at this moment. I know it is going to be a huge success as soon as I can find the time and money to go ahead with it.

I think getting funding through a platform like Angel would be an excellent idea, it would also give you a clear understanding of how good your business plan is too. If nobody will invest them obviously there is something not quite right with your plan or idea.

I know that crowd funding is a popular way of raising capital for a business or project and there are many platform for finding investors. But I don’t have the guts to try looking for investors because I know it is not that easy. My first question is why would an investor trust his money to a stranger like me? Maybe I need to do more research on the subject because it is working for the others so it should work for me as well.
