How long would you survive without internet?

So if your main internet connection went bang and there was no way to connect via your mobile or other way how long would you last before you went crazy?

Also considering that the internet is our livelihood, so how long would it take for having no internet to cause serious damage to your career?

Great topic so far. But I think I can't leave any single day without internet now a days. For my personal offline and online work I need connectivity. Even when I am involved in study that time I need internet. So, it's my part and percel.

Yes I think that is the case for most people isn't it? We are so reliant on the internet and so used to having it 24/7 that when it goes down it is a big problem!

Oh man! I, personally, could survive but my businesses on the other hand could not survive!

Internet is the main source for all of my businesses if i do not have internet, they do not run and then I can not feed my family.

Even if I am only down for a little bit, it would still affect me and my family.

Yes I can totally understand that! It is not nice trying to imagine what it would be like without internet, especially when your livelihood depends on it.

As freelancers we NEED the internet. I would end up trying to find another job if the internet had to vanish because how could I contact clients, and who would need articles to place on websites! My! It is scary come to think of it. The internet is the most important element of many freelancing jobs, and even if i were to spend a day without a connection I would end up badly. Orders will start to run late and this would impact subsequent days. I really need to stick to a schedule to keep up with it all.

I don't want to imagine a world with internet connection for the connections that I've gotten working on the internet is immense and one that I wouldn't want to lose out as a result of poor internet coverage. I always stay away from places with poor signal as a result of this fear of having weak network connection.

I am thinking of a scenario that I am vacationing in a remote area where there are no signals which means no phone and no internet either. Maybe I can last for a week or more if my stay in that vacation place is pleasurable like there is a nice swimming spot, good food, nice people and clean environment. But just for testing my patience that there will be no internet in our home then maybe 3 days is more than enough.
