Microsoft office or Google Docs?

So what are you guys still using? Google docs or Microsoft office?

Sire Microsoft Office is familiar and from my point of view has more options and function, especially with Excel where I personally need more functionalities. I use Microsoft Excel a lot at work.

But when it comes to presentations and plain word documents I use Google docs. Simple to use, you have them on Cloud which means you can access them anywhere from any device and you also can share them very easily.
Some of my teammates had already transition away from Microsoft Office all-together and use Google Docs only.

What about you guys, what are you using in your daily tasks?

Hi Cristian thanks for your nice question. I have been using Microsoft office 98 to now MS office 10. For me Microsoft office is ever best. Because, mostly I used word document and excel sheet for any work. I unusually use Google docs for simple writing. Yes, I agree Google docs is Cloud service and anybody can use from anywhere and from any computer just need to connect internet. But, I could not find multi option of Google docs like MS excel. That is why still I prefer MS office specially for excel work. Hope goggle docs will be more useful if, some extra featured they used as like excel sheet.

I will use both Google docs and Microsoft office. To share basic info like PowerPoint slides PDF's etc I'll use Google docs. However, if I have any proprietary information, never does it go on the cloud.

I have always used Microsoft Office and I'll be honest here, I am really resistant to change when it comes to this sort of thing. My sister has told me to change to Google Docs and I have not done it yet. I like what I am used to and I have given Google Docs a quick look, like a few members have said it just doesn't offer the same functionality. I use Microsoft Excel a lot, and this is where I really need the functionality.

I don't use Google docs too much even though I know you can access your documents from any where and you don't need your own computer to check your documents.
I grew up using Microsoft office. I use word, excel, power point sometimes, Microsoft photo editor for quick photo editing.
I think Google Docs will develop funcauionalities similar to Microsoft office.

I have checked Google Docs just now and it look similar to Google Drive. At least for the word document that I am using, it is a great cloud storage. However, I still have to check the nuances since the MS word has many functions like the speller and the formatting of the text, fonts and other aesthetic features. But generally speaking, I think I will be using Google Docs for my needs in saving documents.
