Implementing Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)

Anyone here managed to implement AMPs ( Accelerated Mobile Pages)? I've tested some pages that do have AMP and it loads incredibly fast. I think is pretty much the future, also Google will rank you higher if he detects AMP.

I've tried with some Wordpress plugin, but it doesn't seem to work. Should Google index these pages separately?

Found some guides around but I'm pretty lost when it comes to the actual implementation. Any simple straight to the point tutorials out there that can help me implement AMP for Wordpress and Magento?

Would it be doable to have AMP for all pages of website? Or do I need to choose only important landing pages and good articles?

Having an accelerated mobile page is really important because it increases SEO and traffic, it also has a direct effect on conversions. Noone would spend time on a slow loading site nowadays. And optimized sites are the norm now.

I guess AMP was made solely for the purpose of the popularity of the mobile browsers. I know that it is one good thing for the SEO and traffic of the site because I have noticed the slow action of some web pages when I am using a mobile browser. With AMP the speed of display would be faster although I haven’t done a benchmark test yet. This is an old discussion and maybe this time AMP is the standard now with responsive sites.
