You can access Google Trends here: https://www.google.ro/trends/
Google basically analyzes and turns into statistics everything searched in Google by everyone.

For example, lets analyze Seocheckout together in Google Trends:

Above we can see Seocheckout interest over time. You can clearly see as interest starts in October 2011 (when the website was launched). Notice the trend reach a peak in August 2015 but remaining hugely relevant until present time.

Google also develops a word map depending on what region Seocheckout is more popular on:

Pretty cool huh? You can do this analysis on pretty much any popular keyword. Based on what you find you can develop marketing strategies, find new keywords or develop new ideas. Google Trends also offerers a "related searches" option on which you can find rising keyword trends:

Google Trends is a very good SEO tool which is ideal to develop a marketing campaign. Basically it will show how often a search-term is entered in relation to the total volume of searches worldwide and in different languages. It is best used with the Keyword Planner, and is ideal for geo targeting. You will basically type in keywords and a graph will be generated. This graph will show you details about the searches that were made for that particular keyword over time and also in different regions, so you can understand how trends in searches for that keyword were.
