What is the best FTP manager?

A FTP manager can be installed onto your computer which allows you to upload files from your computer onto your web server. The main advantage with a FTP manager is that you don’t have to login to cPanel all the time to upload your files. Instead you can download the software and upload files using it as long as you have an internet connection.

What is the best FTP manager?

I use FileZilla and it is great. It has lots of features and it is totally free but most importantly, it is very user friendly. It also works for most operating systems.

For some years i used CuteFTP then after and started with FileZilla and i really like it's simple, yet powerful features.

Well... Both are good but since FileZilla is freeware FTP tool with such good options for using it, YES i prefer because there is nothing you can't do with Filezilla for your daily needs.

I wanted to upload a video directly to my website and I researched how to do it and downloaded FileZilla to my laptop to attempt it but I couldn't get it right even after watching video tutorials on it. I just gave up. I really struggle with any technical things like this and I don't enjoy it at all.

It is a long story why I wanted to upload one of my videos to my website server but eventually I just uploaded it to Vimeo and embedded it instead. So far so good... because I couldn't have it on Youtube any longer.

It's not mandatory to use FTP access to upload something to your server. Most of webhosting nowadays offer cPanel to access your server, databases etc. By very simple use of File manager in cPanel you can upload anything to your host very easy. If you need some instructions on it, i can walk you trough
