    Annoying Parked Domains

    Sometimes I click on a link on a forum post, such as in a signature line, it goes to a parked domain. I don't know why anyone would want to link to a parked domain. Why is this done?

    It could be posted long ago while that domain name was active with active website, then people forgot to update their forum signature with something new and working...
