Is backlinking just about SEO?

For me backlinks are the way to attract real humans ! If I see visitors on my site, I don't care about google or bing ranking. As customer is the king, and everything else is secondary.

For me backlinks are the way to attract real humans ! If I see visitors on my site, I don't care about google or bing ranking. As customer is the king, and everything else is secondary.

Whenever i post blog comments, I try to make sure the comment is very relevant to the blog post that it's on. I'm sure these comments are ready by other people visiting that blog. If they like my comment, hopefully they will click through on my name and visit my most recent blog post. That's the ideal scenario.

That is what happens, isn't it ? I mean I will click on user, who posted a useful comment, to see what is his/her actual profile. Also, you can add some fake attractive images in comment, to attract users ! But you have to be lucky enough for a comment like that to be published.

An attractive avatar helps when posting on blogs as they establish credibility. But it's best to use your own picture as it comes across as more natural.

Another good reason to get backlinks are for the human visitors they can generate, as many times you will get click throughs from people who are interested in reading more of what you have to say. If your comment on the blog was good, they will appreciate the advice and want to learn more.

How is backlink and good comments related ? I mean you can never post good comments using blackhat tools, as your comment has to be too generic.

Unless someone is paying for ads on Adsense or Facebook, then backlinks are probably the only way they will get traffic. Though maybe someone else knows of a way.

I think backlink is different and seo is different

Not really

. Getting backlinks for your site is part of SEO. In other words, backlinks is a subset of SEO. So, I guess they are related

I think that they are great for both. It is a way to attract real people to your site but yet can also do wonders for your SEO.

A link is a link. The more links you have pointing to your site, the better your chances of getting visitors. You may assume, but never know for certain what pattern your customers follow when surfing, and where they will notice your link.
