I don't worry about indexing my web pages/website in all search engines. I only care about Google because the bulk of the traffic will come from there.

What I do is that I ping the blog post (or blog) using a site like Pingler.com. I then submit my site (or blog post) to Google https://www.google.com/webmasters/...submit-url?pli=1

My site is then usually indexed within an hour. It may take longer for a brand new website.

Aloksof, I learned this technique from Potpie girl (well-known Internet marketer), a year or so ago and it seemed to simple to work, but I tried it one day and it actually worked. I use this technique all the time to index blog posts and other web content quickly.

Here's what you do...

After you publish a post, search for it in Google by posting the link in Google search. Put the link in quotes i.e. "mypost.com"

You will see that your post isn't indexed by Google yet. Do the technique I listed above in the earlier post and then wait about an hour and do the same thing - look for you post url in quotes. In most cases, if not all, it will now show in Google (it's been indexed).

Now, if your blog has been de-indexed or "sandboxed" that's a whole different issue. I can't tell you how to get your site back. You'll have to Google suggestions on how to do that.

Indexing a website is the process of creating indexes for record collections. Having indexes allows researchers to more quickly find records for specific individuals; without them, researchers might have to look through hundreds or thousands of records to locate an individual record.

Hi,
I guess you are asking about automatic indexing one? Well if yes, then i would suggest you to manually index your site to the quality search engines only.

thanks

This is interesting because I thought all along that a website is automatically indexed by search engines as I had read it in some discussions. Anyway, thanks for sharing your knowledge to us, @crisstar, this is beneficial to me because I am learning all about SEO methods and that includes indexing by search engines.
