    I want to create custom folders for incoming mail to be automatically sorted

    I'd like to create folders so that emails from specific companies will go to those folders rather than my main email box. Is this possible?

    Here is the technique for creating labels to automatically sort your email as it arrives.

    1. Open Inbox.
    2. Go to the main menu in the top left .
    3. Scroll down and choose a label from Gmail.
    4. Select the Settings icon . On mobile, it's at the top. ...
    5. Check to see whether you have any filters listed in the "Automatically add messages" section.
