Lots of people are complaining how their Blogger.com blogs are being shut down and one often cited reason is for spam. But, Google doesn't seem to mind if you have no affiliate ads and only use their Adsense to monetize and that's not considered spammy, regardless of how little money you are earning. And, considering how Google owns Blogger, it makes sense if not a little biased to require or expect bloggers to use one specific ad network.
Google is basically trying to monopolize the industry. They are very biased to people using their products & services and in so many ways try to force it on you. I owned a blogspot blog briefly. When I had blogspot blog, I used adsense only (the account that I had acquired from third party website). I did not use affiliate ads. Therefore, I did not encounter any problems. My blog even did not have unique contents. I had republished my articles published on various news sites.
