When it comes to paid written content, is low price everything?

I would rather pay $45 for one really good, in depth article than $15 for a really lousy article full of typos and inaccuracies. Just one quality article is worth way more to my blog than a dozen hastily written/spun articles. So for me, low price is not everything when it comes to written content.

Stick with a professional writer for all your writing needs and you will never be disappointed no matter what the cost.

A very well written article or sales page will generate much more money than it cost you, so you are the one getting the real deal.

If a buyer does not mind going back over low quality work to fix the errors then they are welcome to pay the low cost as that is all they will get.

When you say low price, what are you talking about? Some people would say that low price is $35 and others say it's $3.00. A professional writer could expect at least $350 from an article online or offline, so for them the $35 article would be very low priced.

I have seen many excellent quality articles produced for $15, so let's not get too negative on someone who writes for that price. You never know why people are charging the rates they are, but if their quality is good despite price, then you should go with that.

We will have to balance between time and money, if we get articles for cheap price, a lot of editing will be required.

Ten dollars seems to be about average for what a blog or site owner will pay and it's not really considered a cheap article. And, that's usually for up to 1000 words. Most site owners are on a budget and just need good content at a fair price. One penny per word is not really a bad deal if it doesn't take longer than an hour to research and write the article.

It might depend on your particular industry as to what is cheap. A magazine writer might say it was cheap to be paid $350 versus $3500 for an article. An online writer might say $35 versus $350 was cheap.

I feel we all have different views on what cheap is. One writer I know insists that work for 1 cent a word will never get you anywhere, however, I have seen some that work for this and their work is wonderful.

There are many offline magazines that only pay one or two cents per word, usually regional or personal story type publications. And writers are lining up to get published there as the waiting list for being published is at least a year.

I think that it is better to pay for quality than to pay the lowest price. Sometimes the lower priced offer seems attractive but may not be written the best.

What use would the lower priced article be if it were just flimsy with no real substance? As you say, lower priced content might not be written to the best quality standards. Though some writers will surprise you by writing very well for cheap.

You cannot find good writers when you pay low rates. A good writer will never write you a 500 word article for $3. In order to get a good article you should pay at least $10 for 500 words. In most cases, low payment will get you low quality articles. Low quality articles will always harm your website. However, if you search for writers in developing world, pakistan or India for instance, they will write for a small amount and they may be good writers. These writers write for low payment because forex rates will give them better money even if they get poorly paid by American or European clients. A writer who is just starring out will also write for low payment.

It depends not on the cost but on the writer. I believe that there are good writers around who would agree to a low offer. Not all writers are after the earnings and I can speak for myself. I am into writing sites to enhance my writing skills. The earnings can be considered an honorarium of sorts. May I share my recent experience of a forum owner who invited me to provide content to his forum. I offered 200 posts for $50. When done, he offered me $60 for the content of 2 forums. Okay. But instead of the $60 what he sent was $5 and after a week he sent $4. By golly, I was insulted because it was like tossing me some crumbs. If only he would visit our office, I'm sure he will be embarrassed by what he did.

A high quality content is the way to go with any blog post. What would attract and keep existing users coming back is the content quality of a post.If your content is not valuable with alot of misspellings and plenty grammatical errors, then before you know it the blog is going down and the whole venture becomes a loss.

I don't think low price is everything, but the issue is that many clients have now term freelancers that charge low as ones that won't be able to deliver the best article around. So, that's the reason I have decided to always up my price knowing that I will do a great job for my clients.
