What's With ALL The Low Baller Requests?

Upon joining this site in order to offer a supreme service with immense long lasting SEO value, I have since noticed that almost every order request is for really ignorant and stupid proposals.

It's quite evident to me now that this site doesn't have much appeal for true SEO professionals. It's quite evident now that most posters and vendors on here are offering quite a bit of crap. Actually, I see quite a bit of crap that will most certainly get their websites penalized and possibly even banned.

However, I have found one valuable product seller with expected professional results.

Please tell me if I'm expecting too much before I delete my account.

You're expecting too much. Buyers are attracted to microjob sites in general, not just SC, because they can get something for next to nothing, which ultimately attracts low ballers who expect "professionals" for just a few bucks.

Well, a true professional doesn't work for a few bucks...they get paid what the job is worth, which can be 100's of dollars. Many microjob sellers are just reselling someone else's services in an attempt to earn a buck. It's the nature of what a "micro" job is. Do something small many times to earn some money.

I have nothing against microjob sellers, since I am one myself, but the buyers expectations are totally unrealistic and the low ballers outweigh the good buyers by a fair margin. Microjob sites attract cheapskates. There was even one buyer who created a thread on the forum here complaining about paying a 35 cent fee on a $3 service, yet he bragged about how he had so much money! Total BS. Anyone who can't afford $3.35 is obviously doing something wrong and should be seeking help and guidance, not lying to make themselves look better.

There are some good deals to be found here, but if you are paying a little, then you should expect only a little in return.

Greetings!

I do agree, you are expecting too much however I do have some thought to what you had said. One thing I will say is everyone has their own thoughts and opinions about what will get their sites penalized/banned. What worked years ago, most certainly doesn't now, but MANY are still going by the old school rules, and you know what? If it still works for them, why not? People are still screaming "backlinks backlinks backlinks", instead of actually focusing on their content, images, metatags, etc. Different strokes for different folks. I believe, SEO is slowly dying a horrible death, but that's just me. The change that's going to come is going to blow everyone out of the water, one day...

It really depends on what you're looking for. There are many great service listings on Seocheckout that people do benefit from. No, they may not have "Professional SEO" qualifications, but a lot of the Sellers here have a lot of Internet Marketing experience and know how.

Sometimes it's difficult, I realize that, however, please don't knock off everyone here, as most strive to be successful and are more than willing to go the extra mile for clients who give them repetitive business. There are people here who work hours and hours online (solely) because it's the way they provide for their families. Sure, maybe some are crap, but... Not all of them are. There are honest and professional people here who really appreciate the business.

You say "Long Term", so how would you overcome the next Google update and the ones after that? What about the recent swarm of updates for social media sites? How would you contend with all of the present and current challenges? (Just curious)

For some Sellers, most certainly. Many people here outsource their work as well, which means they are putting their services in jeopardy and their minds in a panic because they are relying on someone else to be on time every time. I couldn't imagine doing that...

There are honest and skilled writers/freelancers who work hard for several hours on an article for $10! It takes me at least three hours for a 500 word article/blog post and sometimes longer because I want it to be great content. There are some listings that are repetitive, but content writing isn't one of them.

@Jock9 , you can still create some listings and see where it goes. Or take something that only takes you no more than a few minutes to complete, and make a listing out of that. Ultimately what you decide is up to you, but there are some good things to Micro Job sites.

Good luck to you and your endeavors!

If you are competing with thousands others to do the same job, then it will always come down to price, not quality or customer service. In a crowded market, the buyer always wins and can force you to lower prices until you have no profit.

hmmm,. i somehow agree with what sharia has said. there is surely very strict competition and only those who know thier way get orders either by promotion or other means.

What you said appears to be true. Most people want fake crappy services for really cheap. It reminds me of a tattoo saying. "Cheap Tattoos Aren't Good and Good Tattoos Aren't Cheap." Seocheckout is a great website to host and sell your services on. You can then use other websites and means to promote your services. There will always be lowballers looking for fake crappy cheap work. That is what sets us apart.
