Effect of multiple mutual cancellation request

If I send too many mutual cancellation requests to my buyers, will it be any negative effect in my rating.

@Cheetah7985 No my friend!! You take me wrong :-( Suppose your 3-4 buyers ordered your service within 1 week & then they feel that this service is not what they expect, so they ask me to cancel this order. & then I have to send mutual cancellation to all these buyers.

Mutual cancellations don't affect your ratings, as a mutual cancellation is an understanding by both the seller and the buyer, who both agrees on a cancellation.

That said, I'd take a look at myself and my business if this where to happen, as this probably becomes time consuming from time to time.

I'd ask myself these questions..
  • Why do my buyers ask for a refund and/or cancellation of the order?
  • Why should I refund..?
  • Does this happen because of bad information and/or bad understandings?


Hopefully you don't take me wrong here, but it's important for both you as a seller and for buyers to understand each other. If you don't, then there'll be mistakes. In this specific scenario, it sure looks like something is a bit messed up, even if I can't tell if it's from your side or your clients.

Ahhh I see. Hmmmm I have not noticed any negative marks on buyers that are attributed to cancelled requests. As long as they are not leaving a negative comment on your service, I imagine it would be fine.
When I am looking at other user profiles, there's nothing pertaining to cancelled jobs.

Hope that helps Effect of multiple mutual cancellation request although it is not a definite answer! I have not run into that problem yet.

just as hitmeasap said, having numerous cancellations doesn't affect your ratings but it makes you look very unprofessional and unserious about your gig services. in fact you are even the one losing in terms of cash and positive rating that you would have gotten if you have completed the order.
