5 ways to help build your blogs following

When people start up blogging, they tend to want to make some money off of it later on down the road.  It doesn't matter if you're just starting off or you're a seasoned veteran, you're going to be researching and implementing methods in order to make some money online.  While there are many different ways to make money through blogging, there are certain criteria that you need to stick with in order to be successful.  If you don't stick to it, you'll likely see yourself falling hard and having trouble getting started back up.  If you don't work on building your list, which is one of the main criteria for blogging, you won't see yourself building too quickly and your profits will never come in.

Before you start building your lists, you need to make sure your blog is up to date on the latest news and content about your industry.  If you fail to do this, you won't have much engagement on your posts or your ads for that matter.  There are plenty of people starting up blogs every single day and they never see any profits coming in, so we're going to try and avoid that by generating you some money through list building and advertising 5 ways to help build your blogs following  On the other hand, there are the bloggers out there who seem to just have a knack for it and can build a massive following and sell their blogs for millions a few years down the road.

Of course, this is just a rare example of what you can do with blogging, and it's unlikely you'll be able to sell your work for millions a few years down the road, but don't let that stop you from trying to make something online 5 ways to help build your blogs following  Of course, it's easier to strive for a goal when you know someone has already done it!  So, if you plan on starting a blog or already have one up and running, you'll need to adhere to a few things.

Running a blog isn't all glitz and glamour, you need to keep posting content consistently and make sure it's high quality and not some garbage posts.  It's actually a lot of work to run a successful blog, but you can do it if you just stick with a plan of attack.  What you'll need to do is as follows:

Consistently post high quality content
You can't post once or twice a month and come back here to complain about not being a millionaire.  You need to be posting daily in order to have a massive amount of content that can bring in traffic from the search engines.  Think of it as fishing, the more lines you have in the water, the more likely you'll catch a fish.  The same goes for blogging, the more content (lines) you have on your blog, the more likely you'll bring in some traffic (fish) which will read everything and hopefully help generate some revenue.  Some of the bigger bloggers are writing all day long, posting 20,000 words of content across 5 different topics that are still related to their blogs.

Build your audience and treat them well
Posting quality content daily isn't the only thing you need to do, you need to grow your audience over time.  Doing this means you need to be replying to comments, building up your community using email marketing and being active on social media platforms talking to everyone who follows you.

Become a storyteller
If you become a blogger, or you already are, you must be good at storytelling in order to keep people coming back to your blog and engaging with all of your new content.  If you can weave words in a way that keep people moving down the page instead of clicking the dreaded X on the tab and leaving the page, you will be better off in the profit department lol.

Attracting readers in a strategic manner
If you're not thinking outside of the box, or even using common methods to attract readers, you won't be in this business for long.  You'll need to know a bit about SEO, guest posting, getting interviewed, advertising and many other things that can help pull traffic to your pages and posts.  This isn't a quick thing, you'll learn it all over time, so don't be worried if you aren't seeing a ton of traffic coming in after the first couple of months.  Keep posting and optimizing each article in order to boost your rankings over time.  The search engines will be watching you, and if they love what you're doing, they will boost your rankings and send some traffic your way.

Stay on Topic!
Successful blogs are only profitable when they stay on topic.  Sure, you can report on a big event happening around the world that will likely change history, but that's the only time you should be straying from your industry.  If you're running an insurance blog, you shouldn't be posting about your vacation to Hawaii over the winter and avoiding any snow where you live.  Your audience comes to your blog to see posts about a certain niche, if they come in and you're posting about random stuff, they won't see you as an authority and you'll notice your subscribers dropping.

In Conclusion
Blogging isn't a difficult thing to do, but it is easy to screw up, so I would recommend reading a few ebooks or browsing some forums to make sure you're doing everything right.  You might not get it right the first time, but you'll get the hang of it over time and you'll notice that if you stick with it, you'll become more and more profitable each month 5 ways to help build your blogs following

Precisely right, Posting reliably high-quality content is the key as a blogger and rich excellent posts with idealizing punctuation good grammar spelling. A few people tend to rush while blogging to make sure they put out a post each day. I would rather take as much time as is needed and produce good content and readable quality posts.

Honestly, it's pretty sad when I come across a well designed website to only stumble across a blog post of theirs that looks like a 9 year old wrote it 5 ways to help build your blogs following

It doesn't take long to write up a great post for your own website, and even if you don't have the time, it doesn't cost much to have a professional writer do a post once a week in order to keep your website active in the eyes of Google. Hell, you could even hire a writer to do 500 words and then add in plenty of your own content so it's even longer, then post it to your blog and call it a day. You wouldn't have to think of the title, bullet points, closing discussion, etc. You're essentially getting the template of an article and adding plenty of content between what they wrote and then publishing it as your own so everyone can read it 5 ways to help build your blogs following

High quality content for me is content that gives out new information that is directly related to the niche. We are talking of the readers and not the SEO this time that the content has substance in terms of clarity and interesting items. With regular posting of high quality contents the blog is sure to get a following provided it is properly promoted the right venues like the social media, forums and related blogs.

Building a following really requires you to be consistent not only with the quality of your posts but also with your posting schedule, be it daily or weekly, as your viewers get more accustomed to your content and tell other people about it. It's the same principle which can be applied to another genre, which is Youtube where posting good content regularly is a very important part of gaining subscribers.

Couldn't agree more! The high-quality content is probably one of the biggest factors if you want to succeed as a blogger. I'd suggest mixing the content with smart promoting through social media platforms. Oh and another thing to note, if you want to get loyal followers, be consistent! Don't post once per week but rather 3-4 times.

You are 100% correct. That's the strategy that most successful bloggers employ.

Itcertainly true that bloggers should interact with their audiences. They should
not feel being snob or else they won't visit again your blogs. It's nice when
bloggers answer the questions of their audiences so they would keep coming back
to read another article. Out of the topics could also be a factor why people
left out the blogs.

I really like how you included the importance of interaction with building your blog following. I think ultimately, people need to feel like they have a connection to keep them coming back and reading what you have to say, so responding to comments and interacting is huge in developing that.

Yeah connecting with your fans is a very important part of building reputation in the industry, the same way how actors/actresses are criticized sometimes for the way that they act towards their admirers.

Those ways you mentioned are definitely helpful and I agree to all of it and I couldn't remove one of them for every each tip is a very important reminder when it comes to working on your blogs. Also, you are absolutely right with your conclusion. Blogging is something that you can easily do because it isn't like those articles written by the journalists that requires some rules. Also, blogging is free to anything you want to convey to your target audience/readers. But it does not mean that you can just blog and blog somehow the way you want where in fact it isn't going well anymore. Of course, in everything we do, we need to put some effort and we need to make sure that it would fit to your readers' tastes and that will surely follow you because they like what you write and they are really interested on it.

Those ideas that I read was really great and helpful especially the first one which is consistently post high quality content in order to attract followers and to make your blogs at the top of the line. Since many bloggers are just keep on posting whatever they like without proper evaluating the quality content of their articles. I am sure one scould be successful if it will be given much importance and considerations.

Great articles and topics. I like to follow these techniques. I have been doing blogging for long term. Now has been working with 2 websites as a blog platform. One is social media marketing and another is smart phone devices. But at the future time I have a plan to write and I shall follow your techniques.

Thanks

Posting high quality content is a must for a blog because I am a blogger and also a blog reader. When the blogger I follow would post a low quality blog, I tend to stay away for sometime as if to use my time for a more beneficial endeavor than reading a blog that is not really interesting and relevant. But with connecting to your readers, replying to the comments is imperative not only to establish connection but also to add information.

I have a handful of blogs, based on my two years of blogging, I can say that posting regularly, whether you have subscribers or no subscribers, whether you get traffic or no traffic you should be publishing regularly. When you publish regularly, Google will eventually pick up your blog. When Google picks up your blog you will gain traffic.
Another important point to consider is publishing quality contents. ONly quality contents have t ability to pull traffic.

I update my content and if possible repost updated content with a current date. I also use embedded content and draw in content from old posts into newer posts. It has a nice visual display.

I think the best way to build following is to make more friends in the comments. That way people come to see your writing. And they tend to like what you are posting. it seems like some of the time such followers can have more impact on you. And then writing also goes in more viral as you make friends in the due process.

I'd also advice bloggers to be willing to "start small." Use what you already have to start building your blogs following. Everyone has friends. Tell them about your new blog. Persuade them to visit and read what you post and ask them to share content that they like.

Your friends have best friends who'll do anything for them. Now ask them to have their friends visit your blog. Hope for a domino effect. At the very least, you'll have some traffic and a few social media followers. It's a good start.

I agree with you, blogging isn't easy but it will be if you treat your readers right and make a high quality contents I hate it when some bloggers change when their fanbase gets big, their contents become cringe-y and low quality, also when they get famous they tend to ignore their fans and feel like mighty.
